It: Chapter Two

27 years after the events in Derry, a now adult group of friends reluctantly gather to once again fight the clown they’ll never forget. The sequel to It (2017) introduces us to the grownup ”Losers Club”, who are amiably cast, and also has plenty of flashbacks to their childhood. A few scattered good scenes, and the theme of fighting bullies is solidly maintained, but much of it is very similar to the first chapter, there aren’t enough genuine scares and the effects-laden climax goes on for almost 45 minutes.
