Argentina, 1960; former Auschwitz doctor Josef Mengele (Àlex Brendemühl) is on the run from justice and becomes intrigued by a young family he meets. A fictitious story imagining what might happen if the notorious ”Angel of Death” became involved with regular people who have medical issues, far away from Auschwitz; much of the film is seen through the eyes of a bullied girl who bonds with Mengele. An intriguing idea for a movie, but the family gets in the way of a closer look at Mengele, his ideology and past.
