BAD THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON.

In downtown Philadelphia, five strangers get stuck in an elevator in an office building where a mysterious suicide just took place; soon, the people in the elevator start dying one after another… M. Night Shyamalan created the story behind this thriller that borrows from Agatha Christie (especially ”And Then There Were None”) but adds a supernatural twist. The premise is isolated and simple but keeps tension high throughout – who’s responsible for what happens in that elevator? Nothing blindingly original here, but it works like a good Twilight Zone episode. Eerie credits show a city upside down, like a satanic symbol.
