HORROR STALKING ITS HALLS!
Sherlock Holmes and dr. Watson (Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce) go to Scotland to investigate murders among a group of men; one after one, a āGood Comradeā receives a mysterious letter and is subsequently killed. The tenth film in the franchise is loosely based on a Sir Arthur Conan Doyle story, but this new twist still delivers the goods (even though it may not hold up to closer scrutiny). The mystery echoes āAnd Then There Were Noneā. Watching Holmes, Watson and later on Lestrade try to avoid more murders inside an old Scottish mansion is a lot of fun; the three of them are a humorous contrast to the agitated potential victims.
