After getting shot, Lou (Rob Corddry) has to use the hot tub time machine again together with Nick and Jacob (Craig Robinson, Clark Duke) to go back in time and stop the unknown shooter. This sequel that no one wanted to see takes place five years later and is outrageously silly, seasoned with a hint of homophobia. Aims to please teenage boys, and the three leads do their best to amuse us, only occasionally getting away with it. Their efforts are undermined by a thin, overly complicated plot.Ā
