EVERY LEGEND HAS A BEGINNING.

During World War II, several orphaned boys are kidnapped by pirates on a flying ship and taken to Neverland, a magical place where they become slaves to Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman). A story inspired by James M. Barrie’s ”Peter Pan” that shows us how the boy met a young Hook for the first time and battled the nefarious Blackbeard. A heavily made-up Jackman is fun to watch as the villain, and Garrett Hedlund turns Hook into a Han Solo-type adventurer. Visually striking in 3D, but the adventure never takes off… and the revisionist take feels pointless.
