High-school student Shirley Lyner (Katherine Waterston) earns extra money as a babysitter and ends up sleeping with a married man (John Leguizamo)ā¦ which inspires her to start a prostitution ring. One of those independent movies that start out promisingly and you expect it to have something provocative, profound or intriguing to say about its characters or their dirty enterprise. But this is no new Risky Business (1983). The cast isnāt bad, but I have no idea what the director wants to bring us, except sleaze.
