Dusty Crophopper, a cropduster plane, dreams of becoming a racer and see the world; when the chance finally comes, the challenges pile up… John Lasseter came up with the story for this film whose connection to the Pixar hit Cars (2006) is obvious; made in the same style, the filmmakers simply stacked it with very similar characters and didn’t even bother to write a screenplay that sets it apart from Cars. Originally intended to be released straight to DVD, this one nevertheless went to theaters (in 3D), but its charm is very limited.
