THERE’S A REASON WE’VE NEVER GONE BACK TO THE MOON.
In 1974, the crew of Apollo 18 is secretly launched to the moon where they learn that they might not be alone. A found footage exercise that puts the genreās worst on display. The original idea isnāt bad, but what the astronauts find on the moon is completely uninspired and creates no tension at all. The low budget hurts credibility, the characters are empty and the shaky, raspy super 8 look makes the film an annoying experience. In space, no one can hear you yawn.
