After a painful breakup, Wallace (Daniel Radcliffe) meets another girl (Zoe Kazan) at a party but finds out that she has a boyfriend; staying just friends however becomes a challenge. The kind of romantic indie comedy that’s supposed to offer a fresh take on familiar events. It tries hard, with a certain degree of quirkiness, some animation and the “right” kind of soundtrack; the two leads are very charming together. However, there’s nothing here going on that you don’t see coming a mile away. Too schematic, and not funny enough.
