A NEW FUNNY FILM ABOUT LOVE. WITH A BIT OF TIME TRAVEL.
When Tim Lake (Domhnall Gleeson) turns 21, his dad (Bill Nighy) tells him the family secret – the men in his family can travel back in time. It may sound like an elaborate sci-fi movie, but the time-traveling thing simply becomes another disarming weapon in the director’s arsenal. This is a romantic comedy that follows Richard Curtis’s strict formula where a Hugh Grant clone becomes swept up in a romance, elevated by hilarious, awkward dialogue, quirky characters and teary-eyed moments. Overlong but funny and touching, with sweet contributions by Gleeson and Nighy.
