A group of adventurous young Americans hire a guide to take them to Pripyat, the abandoned town next to the Chernobyl nuclear plant… but the area turns out to be far from empty. A horror movie courtesy of Paranormal Activity director Oren Peli who co-wrote the script. What initially looks like an intriguing prospect becomes another boring tale of Western tourists clashing with Eastern Europe’s worst secrets. Far too slow, populated by characters we couldn’t care less about.
