When Priest (Paul Bettany), who’s part of the elite warriors who won a war between humans and vampires, tries to warn the leaders of the current worldwide theocracy that the bloodsuckers are back, no one believes him. The man behind LegionĀ (2010) turns the South Korean graphic novels into something similar, a dark sci-fi/horror adventure with tributes to westerns, The Searchers (1956) in particular. Starts out well enough, but soon deteriorates into a series of fairly standard battles in 3D, fought by a cast that don’t really look that into it.
