TRAPPED BENEATH THE WAVES… BUT HARDLY OUT OF HIS DEPTH!
Chris Cody (Steven Seagal) is released from military prison and assembles a crack team to stop a crazed CIA scientist and destroy his terrorist base. If you thought The Expendables (2010) was too high-brow, you might want to check this out. The title refers to a submarine, but weirdly enough it’s not a vital part of the story. Boring villains, a silly brainwashing themeā¦ and then there’s Seagal who hardly breaks a sweat and the expected tired references to Vinnie Jones’s past as a soccer star.
