The director of Falkenberg Farewell (2006) returned with another unconventional but stark experience. We follow a desperate man (Olle Sarri) who’s been involved in some kind of blood-soaked event; he’s taking responsibility for it, and his behavior becomes increasingly irrational, but that’s all we know. Not even Sarri knew anything about the story; Jesper Ganslandt shot it chronologically and told his star where to go and what to do. He gives a very strong performance, and this is a chilling, interesting experiment… but shutting us out from what Krister knows and have experienced makes it hard for us to feel anything.
