WHAT YOU FEAR MOST… IS AMONG YOU.

An American Antarctica expedition takes care of a dog that was hunted by seemingly insane Norwegians; little do they realize that the canine harbors something very alien and deadly. This remake of The Thing From Another World (1951) is closer to the original story and has more interesting themes; many critics thought the gruesome effects went too far, but the film has grown into a cult classic. Borderline ridiculous at times, but one can’t help admire makeup whiz Rob Bottin’s creativity and the director keeps a pretty good pace. Very Carpenter-esque score by Ennio Morricone.
