THE GODS NEED A HERO.
In a quest to liberate his fellow Titans and have revenge against the Olympians, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) declares war on mankind… whose best hope is Theseus (Henry Cavill). Another chance for Tarsem Singh to dazzle audiences with visual splendor, but this 3D adventure in the mold of 300 (2007) has an unapologetically hammy performance by Rourke (and bland ones by everybody else), silly dialogue, too many lulls and a thirst for blood and bone-crunching that becomes ridiculous.
