The Event

NBCĀ had high hopes for this thriller series that started off as a cross between 24 and Lost; there were government conspiracies, a lot of action and flashbacks meant to give the characters a richer background. However, when audiences learned that the titular event turned out to be related to a group of aliens that the U.S. government were keeping imprisoned at a base in Alaska, they failed to see the big deal. Part of the problem was the unnecessary attempts to complicate the story. When the show returned after a long mid-season break, the flashbacks were gone and the action ramped-up. Still not compelling enough, the show ended with a cliffhanger that would have been interesting to follow up.

2010-2011:U.S. Made for TV. 22 episodes. Color.Ā Created byĀ Nick Wauters.Ā Cast:Ā Jason Ritter (Sean Walker), Sarah Roemer (Leila Buchanan), Ian Anthony Dale (Simon Lee), Laura Innes, Zeljko Ivanek, Blair Underwood, Scott Patterson, Lisa Vidal, Bill Smitrovich, Clifton Collins, Jr.

In season 1 episode 3, Jason saves the FBI agent from the car wreck. Shortly after the car explode.

Why is it, that Common sense in American movies are so inhuman? Why does Jason not search the family mobil home that caused the accident? There could have been a hole family inside of it.

    For god sake….!
