HIS KARMA IS HUGE.Ā
When a star hockey player (Romany Malco) suddenly can’t perform on the ice, the Toronto Maple Leafs hire a love guru (Mike Myers) to show him the way back to his estranged wife. There’s no question whose film this is; much like the Austin Powers movies it is filled with silly jokes about penises, urine and sex. Myers introduces a new character, the guru who constantly finds himself in Deepak Chopra’s shadow… but he isn’t very funny and too many of the jokes fall flat. Stephen Colbert is better as a drug-addicted sportscaster, though.Ā
