Dance Flick

Suburban girl Megan White (Shoshana Bush) and street dancer Thomas Uncles (Damon Wayans, Jr.) are united in their passion for dancing… and possibly each other. That’s one of the storylines in this movie that behaves like a kid with ADD; all that matters is moving on fast to the next poorly staged, unfunny gag. This is possibly the worst in a long line of mostly terrible spoofs made by the Wayans brood. None of those involved seems to care for the characters or any kind of coherence. Both leads are very weak, to boot.

2009-U.S. 83 min. Color. Directed byĀ Damien Dante Wayans. Cast: Damon Wayans, Jr. (Thomas Uncles), Shoshana Bush (Megan White), Essence Atkins (Charity Uncles), Affion Crockett, Chris Elliott, David Alan Grier… Amy Sedaris, Marlon Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans.
