Prison Break

WhenĀ Prison BreakĀ started there was something novel about the show, a white-knuckle thriller set in very confined spaces, featuring a brilliant young man, Michael (Wentworth Miller), who robbed a bank just so that he could be sent to the same prison where his brother (Dominic Purcell) was waiting to be executed for a crime he didnā€™t commit. Michael intended to spring him out (the elaborate tattoo on his body was actually a map), but there were constant obstacles.Ā The first season was incredibly tense, the second a natural follow-up… but the third became too repetitious, the fourth lost its way completely and the belated fifth was strictly for fans. Still, inventive on occasion, with a dedicated cast.Ā
