When her friend (Brandy) wins a trip to the Bahamas, Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt) decides to tag along… but the man with the hook is not as dead as she thinks. The sequel to I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) was rushed into production and features not even one moment of genuine tension. Any pretensions of recreating something fun along the lines of Scream are quickly dropped in favor of mechanical, utterly pointless murders and a farfetched story.
