ON FRIDAY THE 13TH, JASON WILL MEET HIS MATCH.
Teenager Tina Shepard (Lar Park Lincoln) travels with her mom (Susan Blu) and shrink (Terry Kiser) to Crystal Lake for therapeutic reasons (who wouldn’t?), but her telekinetic powers accidentally awaken Jason Vorhees. The humor that was part of the last film is gone and so is Tommy Jarvis, but everything else is standard stuff. A preposterous story, but it’s nice to see Jason get a slightly different look; he’s almost scary now (with his spine exposed), but he should have kept his mask on in the last scenes.
