A HUGE COMEDY WITH TINY BALLS.
Randy Daytona (Dan Fogler) used to be a ping-pong champ when he was a kid; now he’s down and out, but an FBI agent talks him into going undercover to expose the man who killed his father. The guys behind Reno 911! produced this super-silly comedy that follows the same path as a bunch of other similar movies about odd sports (such as the same year’s Blades of Glory). Fogler is OK and so is Christopher Walken, but he shouldn’t waste his talent. Few laughs accompany the extreme childishness here.
