YOU DON’T STAND A GHOST OF A CHANCE.
In 2176, Melanie Ballard (Natasha Henstridge) and fellow cops are assigned to transfer James Williams (Ice Cube) to a prison on Mars, but are faced with ghosts of the planetās original inhabitants.Ā Director John Carpenter showed a new low by virtually remakingĀ Assault on Precinct 13Ā (1976) and setting it on Mars. The locations are hardly convincing and the script is utterly unimaginative. The ghosts look like KIZZĀ fans, but it seems like Carpenter lacked the motivation to make it more fun than that.
