FEAR THE SKY.
In the near future, three Navy pilots (Josh Lucas, Jessica Biel, Jamie Foxx) are joined by a “fourth wingman”, a plane piloted by a talking computer. Think it’ll go bonkers and act on its own? You bet. The formula is obviously borrowed from 2001 (1968) and offers few surprises. The film has a plastic look and the visual effects tend to be over the top; all the explosions and chases can’t hide the fact that the film feels drawn-out… and silly, to say the least.
