LIVING IN HOLLYWOOD CAN MAKE YOU FAMOUS. DYING IN HOLLYWOOD CAN MAKE YOU A LEGEND.

hollywoodlandIn 1959, Los Angeles private eye Louis Simo (Adrien Brody) starts looking into the suicide of TV actor George Reeves (Ben Affleck); some are saying it could have been murder. TV director Allen Coulterā€™s feature film debut has many good things, but lacks that little extra that makes you forget about the popcorn and everybody around you. The filmmakers paint dark and sad portraits of Reeves, struggling to make a name for himself after playing Superman, and the private eye who has a troubled personal life. The production values are high, and the cast more engaging than their characters; Affleck is especially good.
