Laure Ash (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos) double-crosses her partners during a heist at the Cannes film festival; even though she changes her identity, danger comes her way. A new Brian De Palma flick is always fun to check out, but this one shows how empty his visual style can be when there is no sensible script to lean on. We are meant to be seduced by Romijn-Stamosās gorgeous body and the directorās spectacular set-ups (such as the long but exciting opening), but the big twist is just too stupid and unimaginative.
