NO NUDITY. NO VIOLENCE. UNSPEAKABLE OBSCENITY.Ā
This documentary is certainly one of the most foul-mouthed movies you will ever see, so donāt miss the opportunity. We’re told it has 100 comedians (I havenāt counted them) talking about the most famous joke of the trade, the one that ends with the punchline āThe Aristocratsā, and gives anyone who tells it limitless chances to be as obscene and gross as possible. It isnāt a very funny joke, but itās beloved because of the chance to improvise. Itās such a treat watching these pros talk about the structure of the joke and give us various versions of it. Very funny, to be sure, but somewhat repetitive and some comedians are better than others.
2005-U.S. 89 min. Color. Directed byĀ Paul Provenza.
