HELL WANTS HIM. HEAVEN WON’T TAKE HIM. EARTH NEEDS HIM.

Cop Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz) teams up with exorcist John Constantine (Keanu Reeves), who battles demons on Earth, to find out what caused her twin sister to commit suicide. They hired a director of music videos for this overlong filmization of the comic book; he succeeds in creating many empty visuals (although the special effects certainly make hell come alive). Reeves must have borrowed Agent Smith’s suit from The Matrix (1999), but his character is just dull… and so is the film.
