The Seventh Sign

THE SEALS HAVE BEEN BROKEN. THE PROPHECIES HAVE BEGUN. NOW ONLY ONE WOMAN CAN HALT THE END OF OUR WORLD.

seventhsignAbby Quinn (Demi Moore), who’s pregnant, and her husband (Michael Biehn) rent out a room to a mysterious stranger (Jürgen Prochnow). Weird things take place all over the world and all of these things are connected, as the world is coming to an end in this Exorcist wannabe. The story is pretty hopeless; this is just a mishmash of a lot of other, better thrillers. Too much of it is plain dull and the special effects-laden ending is absurd. The actors make little difference.

1988-U.S. 98 min. Color. Widescreen. Directed by Carl Schultz. Cast: Demi Moore (Abby Quinn), Michael Biehn (Russell Quinn), Jürgen Prochnow (David Bannen), Peter Friedman, Manny Jacobs, John Taylor… John Heard.
