Mitch, Frank and Bernard (Luke Wilson, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn) are three thirtysomethings who find adulthood too stifling; missing the parties and the girls, they start their own fraternity. This is more or less a comic variation on Fight Club (1999); not a bad idea for a comedy and it’s fun to see how the fraternity keeps building, attracting guys of all ages and stripes. Wilson is likable as the “Godfather”, Vaughn fun as the dad with dubious morals and Ferrell absolutely hilarious as a guy who can’t help but get into trouble now and then. The formula is obvious, but on the whole this comedy is nevertheless worth a look.
