SEA EVIL.

A salvage crew led by Sean Murphy (Gabriel Byrne) finds a luxury liner in the middle of the ocean that was abandoned in the 1960s; they don’t know that the ship is teeming with ghosts. A horror movie reminiscent of Deep Rising (1998); it is also equally forgettable. It begins with a grisly (and admittedly memorable) sequence where the ship’s passengers are cut in half, but it’s all downhill from there. There’s no one to root for in the salvage crew and the shocks are routine. The movie’s poster is more fun.
