TRUSTING THE WRONG WOMAN CAN BE A DEADLY CHOICE.
Dave Robicheaux (Alec Baldwin), a former New Orleans cop, and his wife Annie (Kelly Lynch) witness a plane crash and rescue a little girl, only to see that incident lead them into a web of deceit and murder. Director Phil Joanou reunited with his Final Analysis star Eric Roberts for this Southern thriller that takes too much time to tell its occasionally interesting story. Some critics felt that Baldwin was wrong for the part of the alcoholic ex-cop (Tommy Lee Jones would be a more convincing Dave in In the Electric Mist (2009)), but heās engaging enough and so is Roberts as the villain.
