EASIER SAID THAN DONE.

Matt Sullivan (Josh Hartnett) is so sick of his own sexual behavior that he decides to give up all kinds of sex (even masturbation) for 40 days; then he meets the sweet and hot Erica Sutton (Shannyn Sossamon). You’d think there’d be something funny about a guy who gives up sex for Lent, but the jokes are often cheap and the laughs are never there. Hartnett is one reason why; it’s hard to sympathize with his struggle. Somehow, the writer thinks he’s made a comedy that’s romantic, but he’s sadly wrong.
