Two Weeks Notice

OVER. DONE. FINISHED. A COMEDY ABOUT LOVE AT LAST GLANCE.

twoweeksnoticeCommunity activist Lucy Kelson (Sandra Bullock) goes to work for billionaire George Wade (Hugh Grant), hoping she can make him use his powers for good. These two fairly charming stars know the concept of romantic comedies by heart and one was hoping for something resembling Richard Curtis on a New York trip. Weā€™re not quite that lucky; the movie is constantly fighting its own immensely contrived screenplay, but nevertheless succeeds in being a pleasant diversion. Grant looks like heā€™s sleepwalking a bit (could be that ruffled hairdo), but still has a number of really funny lines.
