DON’T STOP TILL YOU REACH THE TOP.Ā

Donna (Gwyneth Paltrow) grows up in a small town dreaming of a better life; she gets a chance to become a first-class international flight attendant, but thereā€™s complications… Made in 2001 and not released until two years later, few seemed to care about this romantic comedy in spite of all the familiar faces. Paltrow is likable in the lead, and so is Candice Bergen as her mentor, but what could have been an interesting satire on life as a flight attendant becomes a malnourished and predictable flick. Mike Myers has fun as a cross-eyed teacher.

2003-U.S. 87 min. Color. Widescreen. Directed byĀ Bruno Barreto. Cast: Gwyneth Paltrow (Donna Jensen), Christina Applegate (Christine Montgomery), Mark Ruffalo (Ted Stewart), Candice Bergen, Kelly Preston, Rob Lowe… Mike Myers, Stephen Tobolowsky. Cameo: George Kennedy.
