MEET BABY MILO WHO HAS WASHINGTON TERRIFIED.
In this third part in the Planet of the Apes series, Zira, Cornelius and a colleague of theirs end up on present-day Earth; typically enough they become a novelty to bored Beverly Hills residents and a threat to paranoid politicians. Needless to say, it’s a reversed situation compared to the first movie. Roddy McDowall returns in the part he played in the original; along with Kim Hunter, he makes the apes a couple of sympathetic prisoners in a primitive human world. It’s all fairly predictable, but the amount of affection still makes this the best of the sequels.
