It’s obvious that Steven Seagal cares about the environment, but it sure is strange that nature must suffer so much – his efforts involve blowing things up and breaking people’s bones. This time he’s an EPA agent investigating crimes committed by a businessman (Kris Kristofferson) in a small town. The director tries to create a genuine countryside atmosphere, but it’s hard to enjoy it much with a script this predictable and unbelievable. Kristofferson’s bad guy is unable to set the screen ablaze, but Harry Dean Stanton adds some quality.
