A CASTLE CAN ONLY HAVE ONE KING.
Three-star general Eugene Irwin (Robert Redford) is sentenced to ten years in prison and becomes uptight warden Winterās (James Gandolfini) nightmare. I guess itās hard to avoid the clichĆ©s when youāre making another movie about the big house, even if it is a military prison. Redford is good as the much-respected general; Gandolfini plays a brutal man but makes sure to show how warden Winter justifies his behavior. Rod Lurie and writer Graham Yost’s thriller is entertaining but too predictable and unbelievable (including that prison riot).
